Welcome to Camille Mumford's Personal Fundraising Page!

My name is Camille Mumford and I am a freshman attacker at Emerson, this campaign matters to me because it will help our team grow and develop as a whole.

This campaign will help our team grow in terms of attaining new skills as we are going to be able to play teams we wouldn't be able to otherwise. It will also positively affect our team dynamic, creating a more unified and cohesive team as a whole. This campaign is a unique opportunity to do these things and experience a new setting to play and bond as a team.

I invite you to support our campaign, and help us as we travel to Colorado this spring!

Welcome to the Emerson Women’s Lacrosse USEED page!

Who We Are

We are a Division III women’s lacrosse team that has grown tremendously over the past few years. Our team competes in the NEWMAC, one of the top DIII conferences in the country.  We are proud to say that we finished last year with a 9-7 record overall and a 4-4 record in conference, including a program berth in the NEWMAC post-season.

TOTAL $21,500

Where We Are Going

This year we are going to Colorado Springs to train during our spring break! While we are there we will get to play games against Colorado College and Ursinus. This will be our first time playing each of these teams before and are excited to get to experience new competition and an opportunity to represent Emerson College and the NEWMAC out West.

Why This Trip Is Important

As a team we have learned and witnessed the power and importance of team dynamic and unity. Last year during spring break, we travelled to Orlando as a team for a similar trip. The separation from campus, academics, social lives, and other extracurriculars combined with the continuous “team time” has proven an immeasurable tool in bringing together 20-25 college students of various backgrounds, interests, and personalities. We get a chance to come together as a team while exploring a new part of the country and playing extremely high level lacrosse. The value of this trip is beyond the X’s and O’s, and we hope that you can see that as well!

Thank you for taking the time to visit our page and for helping our team reach our full potential! GO LIONS!

Raising Our Campaign Goal!

Published on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016 at 08:54 PM (EST)

We are so excited to announce that our campaign has been doing extremely well! Our team has raised over $8,000 in a week; we are absolutely blown away!

Since we have made such great progress in a short amount of time we have decided to raise our fundraising goal to $12,000. With three weeks left of our campaign we feel that this new goal is reasonable and attainable.

Our team has been so grateful for all of the generous donations that we have received thus far. No matter how much someone contributes we hope that each donor knows that it truly sets our team up for success. We want to say thank you very much to everyone who has donated and made this fundraising campaign such a great success so far!
